OPC Alarms and Events Driver

The Integration Objects’ OPC Alarms and Events Driver allows external systems to remotely access OPC alarms and events generated on the plant through firewalls by exposing a set of Web services.

 

This OPC Driver consists of two main components:

	An OPC Alarms and Events Interface to connect to all OPC Alarms and Events Servers installed on your network and retrieve alarms generated in these servers
	An OPC Alarms Events Web Service to access alarms and events collected by the Alarms and Events Interface, store and expose them to any external system.

This driver is fully compliant with OPC AE 1.02 and 1.1 standards. It is a tool for fast and easy integration of OPC alarms and events generated in the plant with any external system over both the Intranet and the Internet.
